Dates displaying incorrectly on comments

  1. Hello again support,
The dates on my comments are not displaying correctly. Most of my comments are at least a year older or more and they're all showing 2012 and the letters UTC between month and date.
    Blog url: http://mayadesai.wordpress.com/

  2. Please post a link so we Volunteers don't have to fumble around on your blog looking for an example of what you refer to.

  3. The default timezone setting is UTC time. To reset your timezone so it's the same as the one you live in go to > Settings > General and locate the nearest city in the same timezone you are in in the dropdown your find there. Then "save chnanges".

Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

Posts > All Posts, change all your latest posts to Draft, click Update, change them back to Published, click Update again. (You can edit all of them at once: tick the square in front of their titles then select Edit from the Bulk Actions dropdown and click Apply.)

  4. This is very strange and I can only assume that Themes Staff have made chnages we are unuware of so I'll flag this thread for Staff attention for you.

  5. Hi mayadesai,

Your custom date display settings were invalid. I've reset these for you and the comments are now displaying correctly.

    Best regards

  6. Thank you!
