Deactivate blog

    I wish to deactivate my blog but not really delete it. Can it be done? I can't find it on the support/help pages.

    The blog I need help with is mettalterego.wordpress.com.

    Just keep you blog private by using Setting-->Private Setting--> I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose.
