I am stuck. I have a domain hosted at Go Daddy and would like to add the WPMU. Do I need to do that in Go Dad or do I need to pay for this on WP. I read through the Tricks on WP but that doesn't really specify a price. This is my first time trying to do something like this. Perhaps I should just create a Wheel.

You are in the wrong forum for that. You need to be over at the wordpress.ORG forums which is where multisite (used to be multiuser) is supported. All you need to do is install the software and configure it at godaddy.
