Default "nothing found" page appearing as home page

  1. When others log into my website, the first page that comes up is a "Nothing Found" page that tells them "not to panic" and offers a search option. All of my tabs appear across the top and in the right order. And when you click on my Home tab you get my home page that I want my readers to see first when they first log onto my site. I have created a Posts page as recommended and set my static page to home and my posts to posts, and yet I still seem to be getting this unwanted page coming up when people first log on. (I am using the Responsive theme.)

The blog I need help with is invisiblems.wordpress.com.

  2. re: http://invisiblems.wordpress.com/posts-3/
By default the front page of your blog displays all posts. You chose to create a static page for Posts and the 404 (page not found) error message on the page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. Read the differences between Pages and Posts.
