Delete Blog

    Hi

    I'd like to completely delete this blog- itsaforestaffair, but not the bristolmary one, how do I do that?

    I want to do the same thing bristolmary. I need to delete a blog i no longer like.

    All blogs are independent and deleting one has no affect on others registered under the same username account. Provided you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog you can delete the blog by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
    Note that deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

    Thanks Timethief, i want to delete the posts that are there to set it up as a new blog under a different user name than bristolmary. is there a way to do that without losing the blog name itsaforestaffair?

    Yes, you can delete content (not the blog) and retain the URL.

    If you don't have a lot of content and don't wish to wait for Staff to delete it for you then you can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.
    bulk delete images & media http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/#bulk-deletion
    bulk delete posts > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit
    bulk delete pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/#bulk-edit

    Alternatively, if you do have a lot of content, you can tag this thread with modlook in the sidebar and Staff can empty the whole blog for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered. If you are sure you want Staff to proceed, please reply to confirm the URL of the blog you want them to empty.
