So, I want a blog called "X" but when I try to register it, it says it's taken.
But then when I try to access it, the message says:
The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.
So... can I get this blog name or no?
You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

so the domain is taken but the content has been deleted.
does that mean that it's still a live blog that belongs to someone?
i want the domain -- LuxEtUmbra.wordpress.com -- it's taken but it's dead.

Blog urls are not recycled. When they're deleted they're unavailable forever.
Search the support docs for more information.
