   I deleted my blog but it still appears in a good search. For the sake of branding purposes, I do not want http://www.lukewestnedge419.com to not occur on a google search. I deleted the blog thinking that the URL would be deleted as well.

   You will have to contact Google about that (also Yahoo, Bing, etc). Normally they clear out deleted blogs within a few months.
