I deleted a Blog that was addressed by my name, and it still shows up in a Google search. Since the blog is deleted, I can't change the visibility settings to private. Is there a way to get rid of this Blog completely through WordPress, does it takes some time to become 'unsearchable', or should I put in a request with Google?

Google and Bing clear their caches of deleted content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 - 6 months or so. We have not control over that and the URL removal tool can only be used in very limited circumstances. Read: When NOT to use the URL removal tool

When the caches are cleared, will the original URL still exist? I understand that the Blog name I deleted may never be used again, but if I google the URL (after the caches are cleared), will it still show up in the search?
