Deleting a Page - Can I transfer the comments?

    Hi,

    I'm deleting a page about my blog (http://ariannasrandomthoughts.com/about/) and made a new one page - about me (http://ariannasrandomthoughts.com/about-me/). Right now I have two pages. If I delete one of the pages - the comments are deleted as well. Is there any way I can transfer the comments from the one page to the other?

    There is no automatic way to do this. We used to be able to do this by using a manual copy and paste workaround. The instructions are found under "Moving Comments" in this article > WordPress.com Comments and Discussion Settings but a recent change to the commenting system may mean that we cannot do this now.     Thanks! I may just do it manually. I think I may try deleting them and copying them onto the the new page.

    Don't delete them first. If you delete them they are gone forever.

    I didnt delete them. I cant post them manually anyway - it wont let post from someone else.
