We have this blog for few years and we stopped using it last year. I tried to log in to the dashboard but it seems the blog doesn't exist or is not accessible anymore. So I can't delete it.
We have an official blog now on our own site. I really need to delete this one. (http://confab.richardsolomon.com/)

That's not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here as WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate.
This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.
