Deleting site titles in Elemin

  1. Hi guys,
    I was wondering if you can tell me how to delete the site title from the bottom of my site's pages. I want it to register as the name of my blog but I don't want it all over my pages.
    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is laurentdunienville.com.

  2. WordPress.com does require that you keep the footer credit links in tact without changing them. I can help you add add a statement above or below the footer credits or help you change the way they look in the design if that's helpful.

  3. Thanks. By footer credits do you mean the WordPress stuff? I was referring to the way that a site title is displayed at the bottom of pages as a huge heading. It looks bad and so far I've had a to avoid titling my site to make it disappear.
    Any advice?
    Thanks again

  4. Yes, by footer credits, I mean the line that starts with, "Blog at WordPress.com."

    I looked at http://laurentdunienville.com/ and I didn't see the site title, and now I see it's because you deleted it from your Settings page.

    If you wanted to hide the site title in the footer on the Elemin theme with CSS instead of deleting it from the Settings, you could use CSS like this:

    #footer-title {
         display: none;
    }
  5. Thank you so much. That's perfect. Now I have a title instead of "" when someone refers to my blog. lol

  6. Nice :)
