   Hi, Just trying to edit my blogs and adjust layouts etc...when I am in the screen to drag and drop widgets (and others but I suspect that one fix will cover all) I can't drag and drop widgets into the sidebar boxes, nor can I open any of the sidebar boxes. I have searched for a fix and found a suggetsion to log out, clear cookies and try again. Then it suggested if that doesn't work try clicking the "screen options" button and changing settings in there. When I click this (top right corner of widgets page) i can see the address bar change to the link but nothing happens. I have tried this on both of my blogs which are set up with different themes. It seems that they are "dead links" if that is the correct terminology? Other pages in the deign menu have similar issues.
   Just as a little note, this is the first time that I have tried to do this since I formatted my laptop and rebuilt it from scratch...I don't think there should be an issue but could it be a plugin or something that I haven't got installed?

   Ok, just to update, all works fine on my wife's laptop so guess it must be a plugin or setting on my laptop...any ideas?

   Are you perchance using IE9? This is a known problem with IE9.

   Hi tsp, no I'm not using ie9 but I was using Firefox...Just tried with ie8 and it's working fine now! Think I'll stick with ie from now on.

   Firefox should work just fine. In FF, log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
