Diable only some top level menu hyperlinks

I'm trying to disable hyperlink on only some of my top level buttons. My theme can't use Custom Menus.

Is there a way to do this?

eg. See http://caricatures.dedication.org.uk: Home (top level only) Gifts (Sub menu only - remove top level hyperlink)

    Thanks

No: all themes with a top nav menu support custom top nav menus.

As for making a top-level item non-clickable, see here:

  3. But maybe I have misunderstood. I'm talking about wordpress.com themes. If http://caricatures.dedication.org.uk is the blog in question, that's not a wp.com blog and you're in the wrong forum.

It's not a 'Wordpress.com' theme, but it is a theme that can be used on wordpress.

I guess it's not fully supported, but the question remains the same.

Thanks for your help this far. Can you help further maybe?

  5. You're welcome, but no we can't help you in this forum - see here:
