Did not receive registration activation email

    My email address was not accepted by your software, so I never received my API information. I have done a search on your database but none of the comments exactly match mine.

    The account I have registered under in order to post in here has all the same information as my initial account except for the username (already taken, I wonder why?) and my email address which has the same "name" with a different domain.

    The email address I used to initially register is one of the new domains and it ends in ".info". For obvious reasons, I don't want to post my email address online but was wondering if there was some way an Admin could contact me so I could resolve this problem.

    Best bet would be to send an email to support at this domain with this request. You may also want to remove your email address from your meta tags on your site.

    I have sent an email to support@wordpress.com but have not received a reply from that one either. All my supposed spam email goes into the same special folder and it's not showing up there either. I have a feeling that WordPress just isn't going to accept the .info domain. :(

    In regards to the email address in the meta tags, are you referring to my home website or a WordPress webpage? If it is my home website, I have now removed the Meta tags. Wish I could remember why I thought it a good idea to put them in there ... probably just learning about HTML. If it isn't my home website you were referring to, would you provide a link please?

    Try logging in to http://wordpress.com/profile
    I see a comcast email but the account is active.

    I didn't get an email from you at support though - I've been watching for you.

    The email I used for this account is comcast.net. The one I tried to use for my initial account was for:

    Username: Viningc
    Email Domain: pctalk.info

    [Added]
    OK, I have sent the same information from both Email addresses.

    Just received your email but it doesn't solve the underlying problem that your email software does not seem to recognize the newer email domains. My problem is solved in that I have the code needed to install plug-ins. I have a feeling that your problem is just starting. More and more new users are going to be trying to register using the new domains extensions for their emails and your email client will continue to ignore them. :(

    <[email redacted]> has not been verified.

    To release your message for delivery, please send an empty message
    to the following address, or use your mailer's "Reply" feature."

    Unless this domain is whitelisted, nothing will get through...

    Yours is the only one I have ever and will ever reply to.

    I tried to send you the email I got from your spam thing.

    So I got this when I sent the original and I went through the anti-spam hoop:
    "This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (TMDA).

    Your confirmation was accepted, and so your original message has been
    delivered."

    And I try to send you another:
    "This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (TMDA).

    Your message attached below is being held because the address
    <[email redacted]> has not been verified.

    To release your message for delivery, please send an empty message
    to the following address, or use your mailer's "Reply" feature."

    This is why I ignore anti-spam features and after this experience will continue to do so.

    Friendly reminder also that Challenge and Response systems are illegal here in the states under CAN-Spam. :)

    I knew there was something wrong with the laws here! Will have to see what can be done to fire the idiot who dreamed that up and have it repealed.

    I receive so much spam, I think I would know if I had a challenge and response system installed on my PC. Must be the ISP. :(
