Different Sidebars for Different Pages

    Hello,

I would like to edit my sidebar so that it displays different content for different pages. As an example, I would like to have a screenshot of a particular website displayed in the sidebar on only on page on my website, and different screenshot on a different page of my website in the sidebar as well, etc.

Is there a plugin out there that is capable of generating such customizable widgets?

    Thanks for your help!

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

  3. @thecalgarystampede, assuming you have a self-hosted blog, search over at wordpress.ORG in the extend/plugins section. As I remember, there is a plugin that allows this, but I can't remember the name. You might have to search for several different terms or phrases to find it.

If your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, then we cannot use plugins and since we do not have access to the underlying theme files, we cannot make those kinds of modifications. The sidebars here will show the same on any page that the themes displays a sidebar.
