I would like to have a widget on my side bar where I can add a headline and the current time:
time below.
Example:
LHR:
10:25
Sweden:
11:25
SFO:
02:25
Is this possible and how do I do it? As you might guess I am new to blogging ;-)

Not with the setup that we have here.
I'm sorry to tell you that wordpress.com does not currently have automatically updating widget specifically for this purpose. If you are aware of the existence of a plug-in that does this then please provide the link to it. Then you can make the suggestion in the "ideas" forum that such a widget be developed as a feature in the future.
