Difficulty with CSS changes sticking

  1. Hi there - new to wordpress.com and have just started blogging. I am using the Spectrum theme and want to remove the date stamp from my post titles as the default positioning is really odd.

    I followed the instructions in this link in your support forums:

    http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/spectrum-theme-shows-date-blog-posted?replies=3

    which showed me how to do this via simple modification of the CSS. The saved changes were successful at first and the date disappeared, but then upon switching screens to do some other work, it appears it has reverted back to having the date stamp on it! Arg. I tried following the same exact steps again to the letter to absolutely no avail.

    Is this a bug?

    The blog I need help with is empowereddestiny.com.

  2. Hi there, I see this in your custom CSS

    .post-date {
        display: none;
    }

    and I see the date for posts is hidden now. Are you still seeing the date to the right of the post titles?

  3. Nope - it must have been some weird temporary glitch! Many thanks for the reply - will post again if it resurfaces during edits or future posts.

  4. The important thing is all is well, and you are welcome. If it comes back, or you have additional questions or problems, please let us know.
