Disable Top Level Menu Items

  1. I have a top level menu item called Dinner Recipes. There are drop down pages for vegetable recipes, meat recipes and desserts. I do not want the Words Dinner Recipes to link to a page.

The blog I need help with is moviesnotbooks.wordpress.com.

  2. Submenu with non-linking top level tab > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/

  3. Thank you very much, timethief! It works perfectly!

  4. I knew it would. You're welcome and happy blogging! :)

  5. One more thing. Is there a way to make custom links open in a new window?

  6. http://moviesnotbooks.wordpress.com/
..is what I am working on. Cathedral Theme. Very pretty. The farm house looks very French, but it is actually not far from here (Duncan on Vancouver Island)

  7. One more thing. Is there a way to make custom links open in a new window?

No I'm sorry but there isn't.

  8. P.S. Nice image. :)

  9. Thanks! The image is a "poster edges" filter in Photoshop.

This site is a blog for our "ex-book-club" members who do not have the time to read the books they want, but can peel away one night for a movie. The next one is Lost in Austen, which is a scream if you like Jane Austen.

  10. One more thing. Is there a way to make custom links open in a new window?

Yes there is - see here again:

  11. Wow! Thanks for that corection - bookmarked!

  12. Thank you very much to both of you! WPTips is an excellent resource page. Bookmarked for sure.
