Disabling ALL Comments in the Splendio Theme

  1. Hi All,

I know there's been a few threads on how to disable comments on pages but I'm having a super hard time with this. I'm using the Splendio theme and I even purchased the CSS to see if I could get to the code to delete the comment function but that didn't work out too well.

Could someone please walk me through it?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is pbyha.wordpress.com.

  2. CSS editing is not required to disable comments on any theme here. This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/

We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

Depending on the theme we use when we close comments a phrase like β€œcomments closed” or a similar phrase may appear, if so, then the phrase can only be removed by CSS editing.
