Disappearing Widgets

    When I set a Static Page as the home page all the widgets disappear. Is there a way to stop this happening?

    The blog I need help with is kanuiconference.wordpress.com.

    You need to edit that page and select the sidebar template from the pulldown in the Page Attributes module.
    Or you can create a more complex front page by selecting the showcase template.
