displaying summaries after clicking tags

  1. hello,

i'm new on this forum so i'm not sure if this topic has never been talked about. i got a blog with stories on it, and most of them are pretty long. i tagged them, but when someone clicks the tag, they get all the posts (using this tag) on the screen COMPLETELY. which makes the page so long you can't scroll it without losing track of what you were reading. can i make it show up only summaries when someone clicks a tag?

    Thanks!

    Chantie

The blog I need help with is fanfix2010.wordpress.com.

  2. If your theme supports summaries on cat / tag views that would probably work. If not then it will always produce a long page with full posts.

You can split your posts in several ways. These two work with any theme:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Custom excerpts depend on the theme you are using:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/

(I am assuming you are asking about this private blog: http://chantiemaya.wordpress.com/)
