As you registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.
thank you, I have updated name servers many times on various registrars, however, since we got our domain through WordPress, I'm not sure how its done with wordpress, how do you update name servers on a wordpress registered domain?
