I read in section "Instructions for Mapping an Existing Domain" that "For certain domains, such as .com.br, i may require to add a “DNS Zone Record” on the WordPress.com servers before the name servers can be updated.".
So, my domain is http://www.cnef.org.br
and I want to mapping my existing domain to my wordpress blog http://blogdacnef.wordpress.com.
Can you help me? What I need to do? Thanks a lot.

Do you want your blog to completely replace that site (e.g. your web site will be the blog hosted here)? Or do you want to have that site stay where it is and you have a subsection for the blog, as in http://blog.cnef.org.br/ and have that part hosted here?
Your DNS hoster for your existing domain appears to be pytown.com. You can just have the DNS records changed through pytown.com and point whatever parts you want to host here, to the address here. It only takes a CNAME records (a type of DNS record) and they already have one in place that points to their servers.
If you want to quit using pytown.com as your hosting provider, you would need a different DNS hoster, which I believe WP.com provides as part of domain mapping.

WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers and I'm concerned that the blogger above may be sidetracked. :( As the OP did not mention transferring registrars, from what I can tell he/she simply wants to map to an existing domain and needs a zone record.

still doesnt work. the .br register site indicate refused server for all wordpress DNS names.

The zone record was added for cnef.org.br
Are you sure that's the domain?
If so, you'll need to contact your registrar about this.
