Do I need a WordPress Pro account to embed a Google Doc form?

When I copy and paste the code following your descriptions in this post: http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-docs/#forms
(my document is shared and viewable)

I can put in my post or page. But when I hit save it, it disappears. Do I need a WordPress Pro account for this?

The blog I need help with is olggolf.wordpress.com.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? When I copy the code to the page/post...it disappears as soon as I hit update. That doesn't seem right.

  4. I was hoping auxclass would see these and wade in as he has lots of experience with Scribd. I'll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thank you timethief; I'll wait as patiently as I can. I do appreciate the help. My WordPress site has been great for working with my son's school. We used for the fair and are using for our golf tournament now. This is important so we can get people to register online.

  6. Hi there,

Is the post/page you are trying to add the code to published or is it still a draft? The post/page must be published for the form to appear.

It was published; then I deleted it because I couldn't get it to go. I just got it to work.

I believe it was a sharing issue - I did it from another Google Doc account and it worked.

Thanks to all on this feed for your help (just knowing I could do it was important).

  8. Hi there,

I'm glad to hear you got this working. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.

    Best!
