Do understand from "help" how to display customized blog roll

  1. I seem to have added a default blog roll showing on side bar. I was trying to create a link blog roll but default links came up? . I cant retrace action cuz I remember how i did this. I want this blog roll gone and not showing on my site

The blog I need help with is thisonetree.wordpress.com.

  2. Sorry! I DON`T remember how it did this

  3. I don`t remember how I did this.

  5. Every theme has a "default sidebar display" which does not contain actual widgets. If you change themes or the first time you move a single widget in any theme here > Appearance > Widgets the "default display" which does not contain actual widgets disappears.

Simply go here > Appearance > Widgets and drag and drop the widgets you want to use into place. Click each one to open it, configure it if required, click save and click close. Your choices will override the default display.

I recommend using the step by step tutorial prepared by Staff. There's a link to it on the bottom of your Admin page http://learn/wordpress.com

  6. You create your own blogroll and enter the links your wish to include in it in your dashboard Links section and display them in a Links widget.

  7. I might still be confused, I`m still getting learning . I already had set up widgets to show on home under header. It looks fine however I thought I was moving all widgets to see how they look or show as blog roll ? Are topics on the default widgets names like discuss, get inspired, get polling, learn wordpress, etc.? Am I on wrong track?

  8. This is the default Links widget display: discuss, get inspired, get polling, learn wordpress, etc.
