I write humorous articles and try to publish at least 3 a week. Do any of you set a certain number of posts that you want to write in a specific amount of time?
The blog I need help with is danielsfunny.wordpress.com.

I don't set a quota, so long as Im posting at least twice a week though I'm happy, but usually if I have something I feel I need to share, I'll share it there and then.
Quotas can be a good incentive to write, but sometimes you just end up pumping out crap just so you can hit your quota. Just write when you feel like writing. If you enjoy it you'll find the posts just kind of happen.
I try to post every weekday, but sometimes real life gets in the way, but I try to have at least four posts a week. Sometimes I'll throw in a weekend post, but I find that weekend traffic is usually a lot lower (personally, I don't read the blogs I follow on the weekends).
For the past two weeks I've been posting daily, in order to help increase my readership (I broke my record today, and so far I have 63 visitors today). Also I have a backlog of article ideas I've been working through, so I don't have a shortage of things to write about.
In general though I don't like setting quotas because it usually encourages me to hammer out posts I haven't spent ample time on.
