    Hi,

I'm looking for quite a specific theme, one which has a rolling headline panel on the front page.

I may not be using the correct technical term to describe this feature but you can see what I mean here on this site. .

    Any ideas?

  3. We need to determin if you are refering to a free hosted wordpress.com blog or to a wordpress.org install. Without you providing a blog URL we cannot answer correctly. Is this the blog in question? http://porttalbottown.wordpress.com/

  4. If that is the blog in question then we do have themes with post sliders at vwordpress.com. You can see a list of all the themes at WordPress.com that have post sliders here:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/ In most themes with post sliders for featured posts vsitiors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Here are four themes that have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, On Demand, Modularity Lite.
set a featured post as a sticky post
    set a featured image

Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. Then every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
