  6. "Banners" had better not be advertising because if they are your blog will be suspended. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that.

    On one hand, none of the characteristic "blog" features like categories, tags, authors, dates, etc. can be removed from a free hosted WordPress.com blog without purchasing an annually renewable custom design upgrade and doing the required CSS editing.

  8. He says I need to contact someone to have my site transferred to another host site so that he can build in wordpress.org. however I'm unable to see how that can be done. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

  9. There is no database access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Themes are not transferable to WordPress.org installs. To export content out of the WordPress.com blog see here.
