   I'm a noob at all this website stuff and I desperately need one that's done well. I recently bought my domain through through wordpress' free hosting service on wordpress.com, but after much consideration, I think it would actually be better to pay for self-hosted service. I understand that that there are significant differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I would like to know if it is at all possible to switch my domain to a self-hosted service, and if so, how do i go about doing that?

   The blog I need help with is manelandmedia.com.

   If you are inside the 60 day ICAN no transfer period you can keep the registration at WordPress.COM and just change where the name-servers are pointing to your new host.
