Hi All - quick question - my domain host offers a free url forwarding feature - will it work with my wordpress blog? - or do I have to buy the 10 credits and host the blog on wordpress?

hey all - seriously - does anyone have a quick yes or no to this question - I've tried searching the forums - and one minute I think that I can't forward from my host for free - then I read about someone who's doing it
I've tried to set it the url forwarding with my host - but it's not working - but I have a horrible host so I don't know if it's them or wordpress - and they haven't gotten back to me
so - help! :)

It will not work unless you buy the Domain Mapping upgrade from WP.com itself. And I wouldn't do that right now: some people are reporting that there's a problem with the system, so wait till Monday at least.

If your blog is not at WordPress.com but hosted elsewhere, you need to ask over at WordPress.org, not here. The answers are going to be totally different depending on which it is.
