   For some reason Automattic, a company that apparently works with WordPress, has taken my domain and will not release it. Please help.

   After starting a WP free account, I purchased a domain name through WP for the blog. I then decided to move to a self-hosted site and bought hosting with GoDaddy. The only problem is that my domain is parked at Automattic (check http://www.svabroad.com) and they will not let it go. We have changed the name servers and A records and it is still parked there. This has been going on for over three weeks!

   We have automated responses from Automattic saying they received the request to change the name servers, but nothing has been done. Here's the great part--there is almost no way to contact them. They have a voice mail number and a form for emails they do not respond to.

   I really want my domain back as this is for my business. Any one have ideas? Or a working phone number for Automattic.

   The blog I need help with is svabroad.com.

   @studentvoyage, we received your ticket all of two hours before you posted this and we have responded to it. If you haven't already, check your email.

   Your domain isn't hijacked.... it's pointing at GoDaddy's nameservers right now. You need to work with your host (GoDaddy) to finish the mapping to your new blog.

   Please respond via email as we'd be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
