   So I wanted to take the name "Easy College Living" but that domain was taken. I went to the domain and its a blank blog. Is there any way I can contact wordpress and have them transfer that domain to me instead? I understand if it is being used, but its an un used blog.

   Thanks.

   The blog I need help with is ezcollegeliving.wordpress.com.

   There is no requirement that any blogger uses a blog they register. The only way to get the blog URL that they register is by contacting them either through contact information on the blog or by a comment box. If they do respond and agree to transfer the blog to you then this process can be used to achieve that. Unused Blogs

   1. You can register another WordPress.com subdomain URL that’s very close to the one you originally desired and use it.
   2. You can register another WordPress.com subdomain URL and purchase a domain name and domain mapping. If you do purchase your own domain and domain mapping then it won’t matter what the root blog WordPress.com subdomain URL is.
