   Hi I'm really new with blogging so I need some help!

   I recent bought 10 credits to have my subdomain updates.abc.com point to my WP blog (example) update.wordpress.com. However, when I visit the URL http://updates.abc.com, it redirects to the WP blog, but the URL jumps to updates.wordpress.com. What I had intended to do was to also retain updates.abc.com when it jumps to the WP blog, and not have the WP blog URL revealed.

   Can someone advise me if there is something else that I'm overlooking??

   You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

   This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

   If you don't understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

   When you look at your Domains page on the Dashboard, which URL have you set to be Primary? You can pick which one, and then it's the one that shows all over the front of the blog.
