I have a website site (www.estudiachile.cl) which was created using WordPress. This website was hosted in Chile on the server of the company that designed the site in Chile. I also have a blog estudiachile.wordpress.com which I created in WordPress.
I would like to host the domain (www.estudiachile.cl) on WordPress and keep the blog estudiachile.wordpress.com active at on domain.
Can I do this and how much will it cost?
The blog I need help with is estudiachile.wordpress.com.
You'll have to handle the export/import of the blog contents before you switch the domain over. Once that's done and the old blog contents are on your WP.com blog, you buy the Domain Mapping upgrade to connect that URL to the blog here.
I assigned my existing domain to wordpress name servers last week and a lookup shows that the changes have taken effect. But my domain name (andymckell.com) still sends browsers to my old placeholder hosting.
Any advice appreciated.
