Domain Mapping Warning

    Hi,

    I used domain mapping as intended to use a wordpress account but after I decided to download a template and host it on my a server where i have another site.
    I canceled domain mapping and set up the new theme on my own server I had my web hosting company make sure all was correct with settings et c etc but I keep getting this page when i go to my site http://www.abeonfilms.com

    Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

    I am very new to this so please forgive my ignorance, should i be getting an error like this and how long does it take for the domain mapping to be canceled.

    Where did you purchase the domain name from? Did you purchase your domain name via a domain mapping upgrade through WordPress.com?

    http://abeonfilms.com/ goes to an empty WordPress.ORG install with the hello world post dated July 6, 2010 which is probably the date the blog was established

    The domain name was registered February 24, 2008

    I purchased the domain name from http://www.myhost.ie . I upgraded my wordpress account to Pro last night and then Mapped the domain name http://www.abeonfilms.com to my wordpress account.

    Hi Auxclass,

    Is there away to direct http://www.abeonfilms.com away from the wordpress.org. Would this be due to the Mapping I did last night and is it possible that it will just take time to reset itself.

    I did not see any domain mapping for abeonfilms.com

    PS: If you were charged for domain mapping you will need staff help to straighten the billing out - did you get an emailed receipt or can you see charges in Dashboard >> store >> Billing history I think

    Thanks for the help. I was refunded as I canceled the Pro Package.

    I will check out the link above, hopefully it will be sorted soon.
