Domain mobius strip of confusion

    Hi I am having trouble my blog to what I want.

    I have made the blog, and have registered the a domain name at name cheap. I changed the DNS settings on name cheap so it goes there. But I also paid the 13 dollars for domain mapping thru wordpress, so it will go that site. Was this not necessary? It seems like it a feed back loop. (It hasn't showed up on the domain name on namecheap yet, but they say it may take 24 hours.) Still i can't even see it on wordpress now because it redirects to the other domain.

    The blog I need help with is cosmicmandala.wordpress.com.
