I tried to change my domain name from http://fromjudy.wordpress.com to http://judysjournal.wordpress.com but it wouldn't allow me to do so. It says that it is already taken. However, when I go to that website, it says that it doesn't exist.
How do I change my domain name to judysjournal.wordpress.com?
The blog I need help with is fromjudy.wordpress.com.
Can anyone help out?

No you can't get it back - sorry. To delete a blog takes bypassing 3 warnings that blog deletion is irreversible and clicking a confirmation link in an email for good reason ie. deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
