   I upgraded my account to have my url be allthingschickenwings.com through WordPress and it said that the domain was available. After contacting GoDaddy who the domain is hosted through they said that someone already owns that domain and I can not use it for my blog.

   I may be misunderstanding how this process works but I am extremely confused on what to do next. If there is anyone who can give advice or help I would appreciate it.

   Blog URL: allthingschickenwings.wordpress.com (but want it to be allthingschickenwings.com if possible)

   The blog I need help with is allthingschickenwings.com.

   The domain allthingschickenwings.com has already been registered by someone else. These domain are still available: allthingschickenwings.org, allthingschickenwings.me and allthingschickenwings.net .

   To register one of these, go to Store > Domains on your blog's dashboard and follow the steps there.

   i registered a domain as bigboyblogdotcom.wordpress.com . I do not know why the dotcom was spelled out in the url and I want to delete that one and change it to thebigboyblog.wordpress.com. How do i do this .. i changed it in the dashboard my blogs and changed it and it comes up i a browser under that url but how do i get rid of the previous account so there is no confusion? Thanks

   To change a blog URL ending in wordpress.com, please follow these steps. Another alternative is to purchase a custom domain name to take "wordpress" out of the domain altogether.
