Hi.
I am trying to redirect my wordpress site http://www.bramijegan.wordpress.com to bramijegan.com and I am getting a msg saying I can't do this. I am trying to do this by buying a redirection for $13 via the store.
any thoughts please.

Can you be clear which way you want the redirect to work?
You want bramjegan.com to show your wordpress site or you want http://www.bramijegan.wordpress.com to go to your site bramijegan.com?
For the first you need domain mapping, for the second you need domain forwarding.
what exactly is the error message?
Looking at things your wordpress.com site is currently marked private - that may be an issue.
I need http://www.bramijegan.wordpress.com to point to bramijegan.com.
I go to Redirect Your Site and then type bramijegan.com
This is the message I get - A domain mapping already exists for that host. You do not need to buy a site redirect if you already have a domain mapping.
But I don't have that domain mapping - so not sure what that means.

On this page, I see that you DO have a domain mapping for bramijegan.com :
https://bramijegan.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
It is not yet active, however. If you activate it by selecting it and clicking on "Update Primary Domain", then anyone who visits http://www.bramijegan.wordpress.com/ will be sent to the self-hosted site at bramijegan.com.
That mapping expires on August 23rd, 2013 and will not be automatically renewed. You will need to go back to your dashboard if you continue to want your WordPress.com site to point to your self-hosted site.
