Hi, any advice would be much appreciated with this issue.
We own the domain to our site (.co.uk) but the site still directs itself to .wordpress.com
The site works fine but I would rather the url just been displayed as our paid (.co.uk) domain as it looks more professional.
Any advice most welcome!

sorry - the site url in question is http://www.porttalbottown.co.uk
Domain forwardingt does not change the URL - you need to domain map your name AND undo the forwarding you are doing now

You will also need to add a zone record.
dam, thanks for your reply but I have no idea whatsoever about doing this...
Staff will need to add a zone record for porttalbottown.co.uk - I will flag this for them to help.
You then follow the instructions in the link above to map the domain to your blog - cost $ 13.-- / year USD -
After the zone record is added you change the name servers at your registrar then come back here and map the domain
