   I purchased my domain name through wordpress and it the registrar is Wild West Domains. I want to transfer my domain to bluehost and bluehost tells me I need an EPP Code to do this. I called Wild West Domains and even though they are the registrar they say they can not help me and that I need wordpress support. Why is this so difficult for me to do? I feel stupid even though I am very intelligent. I don't understand why I can't get any help. I am starting to wish I never used wordpress because this process has been nothing but a headache and frustration.

   Because it is the standard procedure. The current registrar must allow the transfer to proceed for the domain to transfer to another registrar. But it's not that difficult, it's all laid out step by step here:

   Thank you husdal. But unfortunately I already tried those steps and in my domain manager I do not get the "access code" option so I can have the code emailed to me. I just don't know what to do now. I feel like I am caught in limbo between wordpress and wild west domains, like my domain is out there in some black hole and support people at either company can't or will not help me. *sigh* :(
