Domain Renewal Didn't Happen?

  1. Back in Aug/Sep, I renewed one of my domain names (http://theparentingpassageway.com) while having one of my other domains (http://theparentingpassage.com) expire. In the "Domain" tool, I see that the correct domain is renewed and paid up until October 2010.

    However, my blog is completely down. I've contacted support but so far, I have had no response. I finally figured out how to call WordPress's registar (who handles folks who buy domains thru WordPress) and they identified that the domain went into redemption, which means basically that they're waiting to be paid.

    I've paid up, the dashboard for my site shows it and yet I have no way to get to my actual blog. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can get to support faster or if there is something else that has gone wrong?

    The blog I need help with is theparentingpassageway.com.

  2. As an update, Support refunded my $ for the domain renewal, but the domain name is still in a "redemption period" status with the registrar.. I'm stuck now with blog that I can't get my original domain name on...

    I'm somewhat frustrated, especially because as far as I can tell, I need WordPress support to resolve this. I've received 1 response (the above refund) within 24 hours of contacting them and we are now into day 3 of this issue.

    I understand that WordPress support is only web based, and there is no one to call, but in this case as a paying customer, it would be great to have an SLA for a response of under 24 hours... My only other experience with support had a response within 3 hours..and a fix within 3.5.. Not sure what's going on, but I sure hope we can get this fixed.
