What do I expect in the way of Domain Renewal notice from WordPress when the due time comes - at the moment I'm getting dud invoices from ' Doman Renewal Group ' - they want $45 for 1 year for petebowes.com
The blog I need help with is petebowes.wordpress.com.
On my dashboard 2 months prior to my WordPress.com upgrade renewal dates for domain mapping appear and I pay them immediately. I trash the other ones like you are receiving from Doman Renewal Group because I know they are trying to suck me into changing registrars and get more money out of me.

I hear through the wonderful grapevine of the internet that Google prefers domains that are not going to expire quickly, so I just renewed 11 months in advance. Not sure if it is old wives tale or not, but it sounded logical to me that Google would prefer a lengthy looking domain life.

How do I renew for multiple years?
I heard it's cost-effective (& easier for me) to renew for 5 or 10 years. How do I do this? It only has an option for a 1-year subscription on the domain renewal page.
Oh, & debbrad, go to your dashboard. There should be "Store" on the left-side menu there. Click Store, & then Domains.
yllwdaisies, as long as you didn't enable auto-renew, you can continually click the "Renew" button to add a year.
We don't offer any sort of bulk discounts, so buying 5 years now would be the same price as buying 1 year at a time over the next 5 years.

WordPress.COM is one of the lowest cost registrars around, they sort of give you the multi-year discount up front as an incentive to stay here.
Can someone help me I have got a domain and it was coming up for renewal, it couldn't take my payment because the card details had changed. I then paid via Paypal for the domain, i have the receipt and i can see the payment has left my account, however the domain in WordPress is still showing as expiring. i really don't want the domain to expire, any help would be much appreciated.

We want to know if khimjiblog.com has been renewed for the year 2012. Our partner has renewed it till 27 August 2011 but we are having problems uploading blog entries.
Can you suggest what is the problem.
