Hi, I am sure the answer is here but I am not technologically savvy to understand. can you help me? I own the domain name jenakingsley.com through whois and I am trying to forward to reach the blog thedarcyreport.
How do i do that? what is the destination number? for example, its currently pointing to my tumblr at 66.6.44.4

First, go ahead and import your content from Tumblr if you haven't and want to do so http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/tumblr-import/
Second, follow the instructions here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ to add the domain to your WordPress.com blog and set it as the primary domain. Domain Mapping is a premium feature of WordPress.com, and you will be told the fees during this process and before you're charged.

Hi, i don't know that this is the correct thing I am looking for. I am looking to forward where its pointing. Right now its pointing to 66.6.44.4 which is tumblr, what is the ip address for my blog? thank you
You'll need to log in to whois.com to update the name servers. They can help you with this, or check out their support article at http://manage.whois.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq455.html
They need to be set as:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

the only problem is it seems there is only one line to point to a destination
Oh, okay. Well, try it with just NS1.WORDPRESS.COM - the other two are there just in case one fails, for redundancy. If WordPress.com won't let you map it without the other two in place, contact whois.com support for more help on adding the other two.
okay, one more silly question, if it is pointing to wordpress, how will it know to go to my specific blog?
Good question.
After the name server change takes effect, go to Store -> Domains in your blog’s dashboard, enter the domain into the form at the top of the page, and click the Add domain to blog button. If the name servers are verified, you will be prompted to pay for the upgrade and complete the process.
After the purchase is complete, go to the Settings -> Domains page, select the radio button next to the domain you just mapped to your blog, and click the Update Primary Domain button.
