   Greetings!
   Is there a button on my dashboard which I can uncheck so all the comments (including the past ones) on my blog won't appear publicly anymore? Thanks!

   At settings > discussion you can disable comments, but that will only affect future posts and pages, not stuff published before the change.

   For the previous posts and pages, you can use the "bulk edit" function on the post and page listings pages (posts > posts and pages > pages) and turn comments off for multiple posts at one time.
