Drafts that were timestamped are missing

  1. I had several blog post drafts that I timestamped for different days in the month of October. I published them for those dates but I don't see them under manage. Where the heck did they go?

  2. Just to be clear have you checked here for your drafts?
Manage -> Posts -> Status (Drafts) -> Filter

    Perhaps they are under "private"?

  3. I don't see a status area when I go to Manage - Posts. There are only Browse Month, Browse Category, and Search Posts areas.

  4. Look for a tab - it's a dropdown and it's right underneath
    Search terms… Status… Month… Category…

Click "Status" and a dropdown will appear

  5. Sorry, but I don't have this. I just show the last 15 posts and the above things I mentioned. No dropdown tabs. Why don't I see what you see. I'm in a bit of a panic. I did this for a client and I need to see which posts are scheduled for each day.

  6. I will clarify what I'm trying to do, might help. I had a buch of drafts that contributors added. I went into them all and timestamped them a few days apart and then saved them. i notiched a few days later that they did not publish so I went in and published them all with timestamps from a few days a go to the 13th of this month. I need to see which ones are scheduled for which day but cannot see them anywhere. Where do they go after you hit publish for a future date?

  7. I'm afraid that I cannot offer a better description than I already have. I will have to leave this for another blogger to answer as you cannot find the appropriate place.
    -> Dashboard -> Manage -> Posts
-> Status (click dropdown and select) ->click Filter

  8. you are talking about a wordpress.com blog, right? I ask because we don't know your blog's URL.

  9. Thank you anyway. For some reason I do not have the same options as you. It would be nice to get actual support from WordPress but that doesn't seem to be possible.

  10. where is your blog?

  13. @mybubbles
There are two wordpresses. This is made clear in the sticky post at the head of this forum titled: wordpress.com and wordpress.org The Difference http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700

It's also made clear in the FAQs http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/wordpresscom-vs-wordpressorg/

What is the url of your blog?
We provide support only for bloggers with blogs hosted by wordpress. com
We do not provide support for those who have downloaded software from wordpress. org so, if you have downloaded software from wordpress.org for your client, then you are in the wrong forum. The correct one in that case is http://wordpress.org/support
