Dropdown menu for pages in Vigilance

  1. Dear fellow wordpressers!

Does any of you happen to know if there is a way to create dropdown menu for pages in Vigilance, with the help of CSS customization?

I adore Vigilance, no other theme offers the same amount of wonderful details, but I'm dying to have dropdown menus (childpages and stuff).

The blog I need help with is vergiftet.wordpress.com.

  2. Perhaps you might prefer this brand new theme that already has that feature free of charge. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/04/15/new-theme-inuit-types/#comment-86139

  3. Doing dropdown menus has been done by bloggers to the Ocean Mist theme here, and also to the sandbox theme, but it takes a good understanding of CSS and experience. Whether you can do it with Vigilance or not, I don't know and I've lost the links I had to the blogs where it has been done.

  4. Indeed, I'm just thinking of switching to Inuit Types, it's a great one! So I already created a thread to figure out how to add a header to it (guess it might be of interest to other bloggers, too). Another thing I would love to change is the fact that it only shows extracts, not whole posts on the mainpage. So I'm just in the process of deciding which theme to use, thanks for your replies.

  5. You're welcome. Psssttt ... get yourself a test blog. They are free. :)
