Hi all!
I'd love to have a dropdown menu for the page tabs on my Misty Look blog. I've purchased the CSS upgrade, but now I see that I would need to use some HTML to create dropdowns, which is verboten. This made me wonder why sub-page dropdowns aren't part of the core functionality of wordpress.com blogs.
I've looked all over for info on this, and the general response I've found is, "This would take JavaScript to work, so it's not allowed on any of the blogs." But what about dropdowns like the "Suckerfish" (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/), which only uses CSS? If this is possible, wouldn't there be a way to allow dropdowns in WordPress? This is not a rhetorical question; I honestly don't know if a pure CSS dropdown solves any problems or if there is more to why dropdowns aren't available.
What say you?
The blog I need help with is holeinthefence.net.
