Dropping the line and "Blog at WordPress.com..." to the bottom of my home page

  1. Hello, on my home page I currently have a dividing line and the "Blog at WordPress.com.|Theme Customized Chunk by Automattic" under it. I would like to get rid of it, but I know I probably can't. So the next best thing for me would be to push it down to the bottom of the screen so it is not in the middle of my home page image. Is this possible?

    The blog I need help with is imveryape.com.

  2. a) Depends on what you mean by "can't". CSS-wise it's very easy, but removing the credits is against the TOS (#11):
    http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

    b) Add this:

    .home #footer {
        position: fixed;
        bottom: 0;
    }
  3. Part of the reason also that the footer is so high is that you have no real content on the page - if you had some content on it the footer goes down

  4. Right, Mike - and actually it's not part of the reason, it's the whole and only reason!
