   I know I'm clueless...forgive me my ignorance.

   I need to copy all the text/comments off my blog (not ready to delete the blog yet, but eventually). I did the backup download as described in the backup help topic, but I get a bunch of code with clickable links back to what looks like each post, but with no actual text in the download. Do I have to just cut and paste?

   Book proposal has been accepted and I want to use some of the blog text in the book. Want to save the comments/emails to contact readers.

   Help? Thanks.

   All I can think of is to do an Export of the contents - you end up with a real ugly text file - you should be able to export only some things like just comments if you want to - if you exported parts of your blog at a time searching might be a bit easier (Posts in one export, comments in another)
